We offer fees
that are reasonable and fair. Our regular hourly fee is in line with local and
national charges for personal counseling and career coaching. A counselor or career
coach can discuss specifics with you in your initial phone consultation or at
your first regular appointment. We look for a way to work with anyone who seriously
wants to work with us. You may pay for services by check, cash, or major credit
card.We offer convenient day, evening and Saturday appointments. Parking is free.
Are
services confidential?
In
almost all cases, the answer is yes. One rare exception to confidentiality can
be when a court requires that records be submitted. In twenty-five years, we have
never had this happen, but there may be some risk if you become involved in court
cases. Your counselor or career coach can speak more with you about this.
Counseling,
like certain other professional services, is bound by confidentiality agreements.
For example, if you and a friend were each to see us individually for counseling,
there would never be anything said to either party about the other person's work
with us. And, if anyone should ever call to ask about your work with us, we would
not even acknowledge that we know you unless you had given us advance permission
in writing to do so. Confidentiality is always a very high priority.
Do
I make any long-term commitment in order to work with you?
No,
you don't. The only commitment we ask is that you give 24 hours notice to change
any scheduled appointment or that you cover the cost of that scheduled meeting.
Otherwise, you are entirely free to work with us just as long as you choose.
We hope that you will work hard with us for however long you engage in personal
counseling or career coaching. The quality of your work is more important than
the length of time.
