Diane Dickson
is a longtime counselor, career coach, and workshop leader. She is the founder
and director of Intown Coaching & Counseling Group. As a licensed and board
certified counselor, Diane provides group, couple, and individual counseling for
personal growth and professional development. As a career coach, she guides her
clients through a thoughtful process of discovering new lifework choices.
Diane
believes that creativity and collaboration are key to personal and professional
well-being. Group counseling offers a weekly opportunity to practice the relationship
skills which promote success in all areas of life. Diane provides individual and
couple counseling to help with a wide range of emotional and relationship concerns.

Career/lifework
coaching is of special interest for Diane. She has served as an organizational
consultant on career services, and she has provided career coaching in private
practice for twenty-five years. Clients come to Diane for help in finding a more
satisfying niche or for guidance in choosing an entirely new field of work. Our
structured and flexible career coaching process guides you through a creative
process of discovery. We help you make it happen!
As
a workshop leader, Diane brings growth through improvisation to individuals, community
groups, and employers. Our life performance trainings are fun because people grow
most easily when learning is fun. Workshops and staff retreats can be designed
to suit your organizational needs and budget. Or, you can choose from our existing
menu of life performance trainings.
Diane completed
her Master's degree in Counseling and Psychological Services at Georgia State
University. She did post-graduate work with the East Side Institute for Group
and Short Term Psychotherapy. She is a clinical member of the National Board for
Certified Counselors (# 41369) and the American Counseling Association (#
5128725) and the Georgia Licensed Professional Counselors Association (# 001344).
